Project TAFR - short for The Amazing Food Race Kuching-Serian Edition - is a little side-project which two representatives of chobo-lan.blogspot.com are going to embark on tomorrow. It's been something that me and Old Turtle have been wanting to do for a while now and I'm glad the plans are finally coming to fruition.
Basically, Project TAF will see me, Old T and a prosperous friend called FatDog go on a mini-food expedition of sorts to cover all variations of local Sarawakian cuisines. i.e Laksa, Kolo Mee, Sio Bee, ect.
In a nutshell, the gist of the whole three-man eating expedition is to enjoy as many of the best local cuisines as possible within a one-day period, which will include taking pictures of the delightful processes of consumption and proceeded with the satirical blogging and of course the ultimate act of 'throwing it in our Friends Who Are Currently On Foreign Land faces'. The transcendent art of what the Hokkien would call, "cho-bo-lan"*.
*A direct translation to the term would be, "Doing nothing productive with your time."
